Chad J Dean (drums/vocals/guitar/keyboard)

Chad J Dean made his solo debut with Old Boy in 2013 with the release of 'No More Dream', a concept album heavily influenced by the sound of Pink Floyd with a lyrical journey that travels through dreams, life, death, and the broken rungs on the ladder leading to the pie in the sky.  Featuring Dean on vocals, drums, guitars, and keyboards, the album also showcases guest performances from a number of Old Boy artists.

Dean has been a fixture in the Central New York and Southern Tier music scene for years as one of the top session players and drumming instructors.  He joined Chris Merkley and Stiv Morgan in 2009 as the drummer for Digger Jones and has since stepped into the role of an accomplished solo artist in his own right with the release of 'No More Dream'.

Dean is currently performing throughout Central NY and the Southern Tier with Digger Jones and the outlaw country trio Hummel's Jug.  In addition to maintaining a busy schedule of live performance, studio sessions, and the Chad J Dean School of Drumming, Dean is also the owner and operator of Backbone Audio, a live-room recording studio in Whitney Point, NY.
